Feb 22 - Week 7

Picture of the week: The Dunning-Kruger Effect graph —prompted by the overconfident young associate who had three “Mount Stupid” moments in one week, leading to a much-needed reality check.   Overall: A dynamic week balancing  major professional milestones, personal wins, and intellectual engagement —from  Catherine’s onboarding and EOC prep  to  Rahul’s promotion and a book group discussion.  Despite a root canal, caregiving challenges, and Boston’s treacherous ice, the week remained productive. Micky's review included praise for my team's work (although Micky downplayed it in the bigger team meeting - where she did bring it up but labeled it "recency bias."  I made note of it but choose not to react internally or externally.  Hey, I received an outstanding-outstanding review - what do I have anything to c...
