May 10 - Week 18

Picture of the Week:

Wedding snapshot from Sowmya and Chris’s Baltimore celebration.

Overall:

Week 18 was a full-spectrum experience—professional fulfillment, family connection, and seasonal grounding. Between impactful presentations, meaningful travel, blooming backyard activity, and moments of rest and reflection, the week was both intense and nourishing. Even a missed music class felt like part of a larger rhythm of recalibration.

Takeaways from the Week:

  • Presence is power—whether in speeches, weddings, or spontaneous reunions.
  • Foundations laid (irrigation, writing, partnerships) are as important as flowers in bloom.
  • Resilience matters—through delays, rain, and missed routines, the vine still tends itself when intention is clear.

Behavioral Takeaways:

  • Prioritize sleep after long days—it transforms recovery.
  • Continue planning proactively (train over plane, dinner ahead of the day).
  • Let pauses in habit (like missing class) serve reflection rather than guilt.
